Patricia Sanz Cameo was born in Madrid in 1974 and has a Psychology Degree from the Autonomous University and a PhD in Human Resource Management from the Madrid IE Business School. She began work as a stenographer in Zaragoza in 1993. In 1997 she moved to Madrid, working at Arthur Andersen and as a staff recruiter at a temping agency.

In 1998 she joined the ONCE’s Educational Resource Centre in Madrid, firstly teaching stenography and later special education. In 2000, she became the Manager of the Social Welfare Department of the ONCE’s Management Board. She was the Corporate Manager of Organisation and Human Resources at the ONCE Business Corporation between 2002 and 2007.

In 2007, she was appointed ONCE’s Executive Director of Personal Autonomy, Social Welfare and Senior Care, and in 2011 Assistant Managing Director of Social Services for Members, remaining in this post until January 2015, when she was appointed Second Vice-Chairman for Social Policies and Equality on the ONCE General Council.
