ONCE Fundation launches the third edition of the International Congress University and Disability
- EI, CRUE, CERMI and REAL DISABILITY BOARD are the organizers entities
- From today until June 20th you can submit proposals for communications and from September 1th to October 17th, the proposals posters.
- More than 30 experts from public and private entities, from the Scientific Committee, ensure the quality and diversity of the program content.
ONCE Foundation, with the active involvement of the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality; the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport; the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI); the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE); the Spanish Committee of Representatives of People with Disabilities (CERMI) and the European Social Fund, launches the third edition of the International Congress University and Disability, will held on November 10th and 11th, 2016 in Madrid again.
This III Congress, has a clear international vocation and participatory, and aims to take another step in ideas, strategies, and best practices that allow us to make further progress in models of inclusive universities, prepared to meet the challenges of the twenty-first century. The overall objective of the Congress is to meet and discuss the latest theories, models of educational innovation, experience and best practice of universities around the world in terms of inclusion, which are assuming progress in improving educational quality and quality of life of persons with disabilities, in accordance with the mandates provided for in the International Convention on Rights of persons with disabilities.
Communications and Posters: Open the deadline
Congress provides a forum for the exhibition of the work and research on University and Disability are being made at the national and international levels. Communications should try some of the following areas: inclusive University; accessibility and inclusive curricular sport; Skills, employability, employment and support programs work inclusion; regulatory frameworks and legislative demands; Technological innovations for education and learning.
Individuals or organizations interested in submissions for the conference should provide a short text summarizing its key aspects, using the online form available on the conference website. The deadline for submitting paper proposals will be open from today until June 20th, 2016. Proposals received will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee, and once accepted, authors will be informed so they can prepare the final communication, which should sent to the following email: firstname.lastname@example.org before September 26th, 2016.
In order to have more opportunities for participation during the Congress and that everyone who wants it can expose an orderly manner their experiences and / or reflections on the generic theme "University and Disability" offers a POSTERS space during 5 minutes of exposure and 5 of questions, participants can present their presentations.

The Scientific Committee, which held its first meeting on March 15th, will be responsible for examining the communications and posters received in order to select those to be presented during the Congress. The best communication and the best poster will receive an award during the closing ceremony of Congress.
