Google joins together with other entities as a partner of the III International Congress on University and Disability to be held on November 10 and 11 in the Madrid SPORTS AND CULTURAL CENTER OF THE ONCE
Google, which already collaborated on the second edition of the International Congress on University and Disability, also joins as a partner to this third edition of the Congress that is already a reference to inclusive education in the international arena.
The III Congress, organized by the ONCE Foundation, the Royal Association for Disability, the CERMI and CRUE aims to further deepen on educational strategies that affect inclusive education, promoting access and participation of people with disabilities in college and promote actions and policies that affect greater inclusion in the university systems as this is the best guarantee for full social inclusion and access to quality jobs.
In the Congress, which has a large technology component, new technologies and their use in educational and training processes have a special role, all from an inclusive approach and the need to promote affordable technologies to avoid the technological gap and bring closer the technologies to everybody.
For Google is important to know the experiences of universities in relation to the inclusion of persons with disabilities, as well as the advances in research and innovation in the use of technologies as tools to support the inclusion of people with disabilities. Google actually participates in the round table on "Technology to improve education and learning for people with disabilities: avoiding new technological gaps"
