Related to her professional career, she practised as Consultant of the Support Structure of the Community Initiatives of Regional Development in the Administrator Unit of the European Social Fund, at the Spanish Ministry of Labour for three years. She began at the ONCE Foundation in 2000 as technical consultant in the European Programs Unit, becoming its manager in 2003.

As the Head of the Unit she is responsible of the supervision of Operational Programmes Fight Against Discrimination since 2000, co-funded by the ERDF and the European Social Fund, leaded by Fundación ONCE. Administration and follow-up of 25 millon euros per year; responsible of the relationship with the Ministry of Labour, the DG Employment of the European Commission and other Institutions of the UE, and with other Entities of the Third Sector, agents of the grants of the European Social Fund. Preparation of strategic documents and promotion of research, studies and seminars related to the use of Structural Funds.

Other relevant milestones:

  • Speaker on the paper of the Structural Funds on the Inclusion of People with Disabilities in several conferences.
  • Expert of the Task Forces leaded by the EDF and the European Commission on ESF programmes 2007-2013 and 2014-2020.
  • Participation as a representative of Civil Society in different European Conferences on the European Social Fund. Member of the European Social Fund Technical Working Group.
  • Several publications.
